The same distance can take 25 minutes or 75 depending on the hour, the weather and the city. These are rules of thumb, not promises — but they'll keep you from cutting it fine. The single best move is to let your chauffeur plan the timing against live conditions.
A rough guide, city by city
- Mumbai — north–south movement is slow and airport approaches (T1/T2) are unpredictable; leave generous margins toward the suburbs.
- Delhi NCR — hops between Delhi, Gurugram and Noida can each run over an hour in peak; winter fog stretches mornings further.
- Bengaluru — the airport is genuinely far (often 60–90 minutes); the ORR and tech corridors crawl at peak.
- Chennai — the OMR/IT corridor and coastal roads get dense; heat makes any delay less pleasant.
- Hyderabad — Rajiv Gandhi International is well to the south; budget a long, steady run from the tech districts.
- Kolkata — central streets are dense and the airport sits north-east; allow extra through the older quarters.
- Pune — compact, but a few choke points and the Expressway on-ramps can hold you up.
The airport rule
For flights, work backwards from your gate, not forwards from your door. We track the flight, factor live traffic, and add a sensible cushion for check-in and security — so you arrive with margin, not adrenaline. For arrivals, our chauffeur is already waiting whether you're early or late.
Let the chauffeur sequence the day
For a day of meetings, the order matters as much as the buffer. A chauffeur who knows the city will route you against the worst of the flow and keep you moving — turning the gaps between appointments into time you actually use.
Tell us your flights and meeting times, and we'll build the timing around them. Send us an enquiry — we respond within four hours.
